I haven't read it through yet but here is the website for the Warhammer 9th rules written by the Swedish Comp and ETC lads

Food for thought

I like what they are doing. I don't agree with all the changes, but they are helping to keep the game alive and give it room to grow, even without GW support, which is the important thing.

They've now released their beta rule set. I've only read through the orc and goblin bits and some of the main rulebook but what I've seen so far looks great.

I especially like the new deployment rules where you can choose to deploy multiple units at a time to improve your chances of getting first turn. The objectives also give it more depth and hopefully avoids Battleline burnout.

I've looked at a few of the lists too and I'm quite impressed. Maybe we should consider trying it out? Many of the worst things have been changed/removed and Dwarfs look more fun to play with and against

I'll ask around

I'd be more than happy to give it a go. It'd be nice to see some of the lesser used units actually being on par with everything else.

Beastmen can now get an ambushing giant i think...

I was a bit skeptical about this at first, but I might be going to a small event running it so I'll give it a go.
