"Doing it all 4 ways" (all four chaos powers themed lists) from SVA X (go go 5th placed domain, even with the machinations of our Tzeentch leader...) are planning on getting there if we can, and my partner Moz has already booked the weekend off....

So who else can come? We already have 2 cars, probably, so can probably share transportation costs and find somewhere cheap but not rat infested accomodation wise.

Anyone interested I'll be down at Spiky thursday - we should really show Spikys face at these far off places

Confirmed as going - bought tickets

David R
James K
Rob C
Moz P
Dan Dakari-man
Stu R
Gareth B - sorting out a B&B for himself

Confirmed as going - need to buy tickets

Dan K
Chris R
Grag Davies

Possibles

David
Jen
Tim

Well, I'd like to, but 2000 points?

If I could field the baneblade, that'd be great (and save on some painting), but it's too many points to be allowed

I think I'll aim for the Guard, but I may have to have a back-up plan...

That'd be cool, though having come last year, are you not tempted by a return visit?

I suppose if we get enough folks from the club we could consider hiring a 9 seater half cab minbus or a large people carrier if we're all up for it?

I'd imagine we'll have to get in for our tickets asap though.

A series of cars may be the cheaper option, generally splitting petrol costs is cheaper than a minibus plus diesel.

I've emailed the bristol vanguard guys with some initial names but not had a response yet - and no sign of the rulespack. From the baneblade comment does it mean that some "big" / IA stuff is allowed?

Had a quick look at hotels - about £70 for a twin / double room at the novotel next to Bristol temple meads - whereabouts is the tournament held? I can try to find some reasonable hotels that still give us a good base for any drinking saturday night...

We stayed in the Premier inn for vanquish which works out about the same price. The event will be held at a school, i forget it's name, i actually have the rulespack at home but unfortunatley won't be at the club tomorrow night. Dave R might have a copy aswell.

Really depends on where you want to go drinking, we just wen't down to a local carvery that had relativley cheap beer

The event is held at Henbury school (51°30'37"N 2°38'1"W) - as James says, generally stay at the Premier inn up the road (60 quid per night for a twin), though one of the other guys at the last event was staying in a (same price) b&b closer to the pub that we go drinking in

Yes, typically

I believe that the format will be 1500 point games on day 1, and then 2000 point games on day 2. For day 2, big stuff (IA and apocalypse) is allowed, but there is a 500 point limit - check last year's rulespack for details (Link here)
