Hi,

Is Starsmash on this year ? Any details yet, is it 1750 pts, and is anyone accepting payment yet ?

Yeah it is on this year, not in it's normal form though.

It'll be held later in the year at our place!

More details will be posted in due course.

Thanks for quick reply.

Later in the year may give me time to finish painting up my new army, would be nice to not be the whipping boy with my Tau

Great news. Are you taking a list of people who want to attend yet ? If so can I reserve 2 tickets for my myself and my mate Michael Mitchell ?

Has it been decided what points level the tournament will be (so I know my target to paint up) ?

Hi Rob

I seem to have volunteered to run this. Rules pack etc etc will be sorted out ASAP, however it will be 5 games at 1500 points.

Not taking names yet, but I'll make sure to keep a couple of places open for you.

Babychaos, can you email me at spikyevents©hotmail.co.uk and I will send you a word version of rapid strike rulespack so you only need modify a few details to amke it for starsmash. I also have a bunch of email contacts for previous attendees that I can pass onto you.

James I'll be around that weekend so I can come down and help out, how many do you plan to go for, we have 34 Tables now so 68 capacity.

Hi Andy

Email sent.

Can 34 tables be fit into the room? From a maths point of view 64 would make most sense, as it should make Swiss variants run a little smoother.

Thats probably the best idea. How many boxes of scenery does Spiky have? Need to make sure that there is enough for all the tabels to have decent coverage...

We can fit 72 in there as I had that many for Tides of Chaos, however, we used a few round tables which didn't go down so well, so 68 would be better.

Scenary would be the biggest challange so it would be best to check how much and if we wanted to go with more then snap some up from the shops. Fantasy buildings can be used to represent fuedal worlds as well.

Babychaos, I'll be down next week so I can give you a couple of tips on running a big tournament.

Hey Pete,

Looking forward to this one!

I have a couple of questions on the Rulespack, specifically the Kill Em All scenario. Shall I just post them up under this thread? Or shall I email them to you so you can do a new thread...just wondered!

Cheers
John

Nice one cheers mate.

My buddy from the doubles wants in on this too. Simon Ellis. If you could put him on the list and I will cash you up for membership and fees for him when we next meet (silly reading festival!) if thats ok.

Hi Guys,

Just to let everyone know there are only 11 places left for the weekend so if you want to come and haven't paid best do it quick as tickets seem to be going very quickly.

Cheers

Hi,

I've just paid via paypal for myself, and my mate Michael Mitchell.

Dave: Let me know if there is any issue with the paypal payment.
